Amperis is a company specialising in state-of-the-art instrumentation for the diagnosis and testing of electrical substations. The company is located in the northwest of Spain, in the Polígono Industrial das Gándaras in the city of Lugo. After completing the construction and since November 2017 the company is located in the new headquarters, located at 14 Barbeito María Street. The new Amperis headquarters has offices and a new, more modern warehouse, with more internal conveniences and more facilities for the exit and entry of goods, with the aim of always providing a better service to the customer.

CAT Advanced Series
Description The Advanced CAT Series Analyzers and Timers are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breaker status evaluation. Timing channels record arc closing and opening, resistance and auxiliary contacts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of pre-insertion resistors (if present in the breaker). The advanced CAT series records graphs of the opening and closing coil currents and the movements of the moving parts of the high and medium voltage circuit breaker. Test results are printed on the 112 mm (4.4 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. The advanced CAT series provides easy selection of different operating modes:

CAT Standard Series
The CAT Standard series circuit breaker analyzers & timers are stand-alone or a PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breakers condition assessments. The timing channels record closing and opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. CAT Standard series records graphs of both, trip and close coil currents and displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker). Test results can be downloaded to a USB memory stick or saved to internal memory. The CAT Standard series internal memory can store up to 500 test results (numerical and graphical data). Test results can also be printed on the 80 mm (3.15 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. Sat40a II Series
The Coil Analyzer SAT40A II series is a powerful tool for testing circuit breakers where a substation battery is not available. It is unique device in the market due to its dual purpose: - It can be used as a stable power supply for coils and spring-charging motors (both DC and AC power supply voltage) during commissioning and maintenance testing. - It is powerful analysis tool for assessing conditions of circuit breaker auxiliary circuit and coils. The Coil Analyzer SAT40A II series has separate DC and AC coil outputs for power supply of opening and closing coils. The output voltage is selectable in the ranges from 10 V to 300 V DC or from 10 V to 250 V AC. The Coils outputs can withstand up to 15 A current. The DC and AC motor outputs can generate from 10 V to 300 V DC and 250 V AC voltage. The motor outputs can withstand starting (inrush) currents up to 40 A. These outputs can also be used as continuous power supply outputs.
