Humidity Indicators
A humidity detector, also referred to as a humidity meter or humidity gauge, is a device with a humidity sensor that measures the relative humidity in the air. PCE Instruments offers a number of humidity detector products including handheld humidity detector, data recording or data logging humidity detector, and combination or multifunction humidity detector devices that also measure parameters such as room or ambient temperature and atmospheric or barometric pressure. A humidity detector can measure relative humidity (RH) as a percentage (%) from 0 to 100 % RH, depending on the humidity measurement range of the specific model.Humidity is a key factor in everything from library and museum archival to agriculture, construction, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). A relative humidity meter also is helpful in evaluating workers' heat stress risk on production floors and job sites. In addition, humidity plays an important role in the residential sector. If the humidity is too high in a private household, mold can grow. Mold creates a health hazard for anyone breathing the air in the home.

Earth Ground Meters
The earth tester determines ground resistance for both specific and ohm resistances. The earth tester is powered by batteries and have a clock timer function (3 minutes), Data-Hold function, a 3 ½ positions LCD display and their dimensions are 163 x 100 x 50 mm. Resistance ranges come from 20, 200 to 2000 ohms. They have a resolution of 10 / 100 mΩ / 1 Ω. The earth tester measure resistance by means of a constant reverse current (approx. 800 Hz, 2 mA). To measure ground voltage a rectifier is used (5 kΩ/V aprox. 40...500 Hz). The earth tester PKT-2630 series have a small format as well as multiple functions.

Sound Level Meters
A sound level meter is a measuring instrument used to assess noise or sound levels by measuring sound pressure. Often referred to as a sound pressure level (SPL) meter, decibel (dB) meter, noise meter or noise dosimeter, asound level meter uses a microphone to capture sound. The sound is then evaluated within the sound level meter and acoustic measurement values are shown on the display of the sound level meter. The most common unit of acoustic measurement for sound is the decibel (dB); however, some sound level meter devices also determine the equivalent continuous sound level (Leq) and other acoustic parameters. With a portable sound level meter, industrial hygiene and workplace safety professionals can measure sound levels in multiple locations to ensure environmental conditions fall within recommended exposure limits (RELs). Some sound level meter devices can be permanently installed for continuous monitoring of sound levels at a work or job site. PCE sound level meter products are lightweight, easy-to-use and manufactured in accordance with the highest industrial standards.

Accelerometers
An accelerometer is used in manufacturing machine maintenance to inspect equipment vibration. An accelerometer also is used in product testing to measure the vibration of various components.A triaxial accelerometer, also called a 3-axis accelerometer, provides measurements of the following parameters: vibration acceleration, vibration velocity and vibration displacement. In this way, vibration is measured and recorded with great precision.Most accelerometer products offered by PCE Instruments are portable devices. Many feature memory functionality so that readings can be stored and retrieved later for in-depth analysis. Some accelerometer models come with a manufacturer's calibration certificate. Some accelerometer models can be calibrated to ISO standards optionally for an additional fee.

Magnetometers
The strength of magnetic fields can be determined with a magnetometer. Regardless of whether in the private sector or in the work environment, the increasing use of technology and networking also increases the exposure to magnetic and electromagnetic radiation. This radiation can have a negative effect on living beings, but also on sensitive electronic devices. Many effects are so unspecific that radiation is often not recognized as the cause. Thermometers
At PCE you will find both a contact and non-contact thermometer for measuring and recording temperature. There is a thermometer to measure different temperature ranges between -200 and 1767ºC / -328 ... 3212ºF. Measurement of temperature is done in many different sectors. Decibel Meters
