Physical Layer Switching Systems for Copper LAN, WAN< DSL, Telco Apps with RJ Style Connectors
RJ Series Switching Systems
The RJ Series of computer controlled switching systems are designed for physical layer switching of multiwire signals on RJ style connectors. Since the system uses mechanical relays it acts exactly like a piece of cable which makes it perfect for testing networks without altering the signals or regeneration. These systems are typically used for Ethernet LAN 10BaseT through 1000BaseT, DSL including ASML through GFAST, CAT5 through CAT6A cable testing, USB up to 2.0, RS232, RS422, RS485 up to 8 wire at 20 Mbps and many other applications switched over RJ45 connectors up to 8 wires. They may also be used as lab automation switches, network testing switches, patch panels, network redundancy switches or any number of physical layer applications.

High Density 1xN mux or 2xN Matrix Switching Systems
JX Series
This compact and economically priced series can be used as either 1xN multiplexers, 2xN matrices, or individual switches. As multiplexers, they can be used as a large number of individual muxes or jumpered together to form as large a mux as you need to switch a large number of inputs or outputs to one common port. As a 2xN matrix they allow you to switch any number of signals between two ports of a DVM, DMM, LCR, or other type of meter or supply. Individual relay modules are available for other configurations requiring discrete SPST or SPDT relays with standard or power relays.

This Chassis is a 16x16 non-blocking, full fan-out matrix for 50 ohm signals from 1 GHz to 2.7 GHz. The system uses splitters and amplifiers on the input side and switch modules on the output side to form a stubless matrix. Unit comes standard with LAN, GPIB and RS232 control. A keypad manual control is optional.

Coax Switches
CXAR Series
CXAR products are 50 or 75 ohm coax switch modules with mechanical or solid state switches. They can be configured to drive from 16 to 256 switch points and are intended to be used for signal from DC to 2.5 GHz depending on the configuration. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. GX Series
Cytec GX Series is used to build Group or Gang switches from 2 to 2000 wires. A variety of different modules can be custom configured to switch virtually any type of signal and can be wired out to any type of connector.Group Multiplexers switch any one of several groups of input signals to a single output group, or a single input group to multiple output groups.

This module has 16 single pole, Form A, discrete relays which are wired and controlled individually. The relays can be externally wired to make any configuration needed. This Chassis is intended to control up to eight 16x1 solid state 75 ohm cable TV modules, or may be used to control a great number of 8x1, 4x1, 2x1 or 2x2 modules. It is often used to control a large variety of custom configurations which may be located in separate chassis. When used as a separate driver chassis it can control up to 256 switch points from a 2 RU chassis. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status. Add Switch Modules, CP16 Driver Modules and a Control Module to complete the system. Keypad Manual manual control with LCD display is optional.

These Chassis controls up to 16 8x1 modules, 32 4x1 modules or any combination or configuration such as a 16x8 matrix, 32x4 matrix or two 16x4 matrices. Matrix configurations are non-blocking and physical layer switches act like a cable connection with D connectors creating a one to one connection between D9, D15 or D25 connectors. All wires are switched as a group on each connector for easy programming. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status.
