Plottergeist "the phantom plotter" emulates all the common HPGL plotters. It runs on a standard PC equipped with a GPIB card or using RS-232, and connects to test equipment or another computer. The software behaves like a real plotter, with the exception that the PC screen is the paper.

Network Analyzer Instrument State Utility
VNAState
The VNA Instrument State Utility works with the most popular Vector Network Analyzers from Agilent / HP. It retrieves the instrument state information (frequencies, calibration, markers, etc) and stores it on disk in the PC as an "IST" file (meaning Instrument STate). The data can then be downloaded into the instrument at a later date.

PNA Series
The PNA series of network analyzers from Agilent have LAN connectivity as well as GPIB to control the instrument. However, the intended method for programming the PNA is using DCOM (Microsoft's Distributed Component Object Model), which is different from most other LAN-enabled products.
