Chandler Engineering
Chandler Engineering is the world's largest supplier of instruments for testing oil, gas and geothermal well cements. From our headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S.A., we design, manufacture, service and support the instruments used for testing per American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification 10 and ISO CD10426. We also provide instruments for API Specification 13 for drilling mud, and API Specification 39 for fracturing fluids.

Data Acquisition
Data Acquisition And Control Software offers complete control over the temperature and pressure schedules of oilfield laboratory instruments from a personal computer. Digital Chart Recorders provide secure data storage and digital backup of critical test data. Previously sold as ancillary equipment on all Chandler Engineering HPHT cement consistometers, pen and paper chart recorder technology is rapidly becoming obsolete as industry demands change.

Deadweight Testers & Gauges
The most accurate instrument available for the measurement of pressure above a few psig is the Hydraulic Deadweight Gauge. This type of gauge operates on the principle of balancing a known mass against the force exerted by an unknown pressure on a piston of known area. When an exact balance is achieved, the unknown pressure "P" is equal to the mass "M" of the weights divided by the area "A" of the piston, according to the formula "P" = "M" / "A". In us, weights are removed or added from the piston's table, as with a double-pan balance until the piston "floats" without net vertical movement.

Fluid Loss
Fluid Loss testers were designed to be as easy to use as possible, with clear and intuitive controls. Once the cement slurry or mud is placed into the test cell, a programmable temperature controller increases the temperature at the desired rate. The slurry is conditioned by stirring at 150 rpm similar to a consistometer.
