With 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet, you achieve a substantial performance increase over 100 Mb/s Fast Ethernet while remaining completely compatible with 10BASE‑T and 100BASE‑TX Fast Ethernet networks. The PXI‑8231 also features automatic cable polarity detection.
