The R&S®CMW290 is the ideal test solution for the integrated wireless communications modules used in laptops, data cards, wearables and various IoT products. The R&S®CMW290 offers functions tailored to these applications within the R&S®CMW product family. The tester provides network emulation (signaling mode) as well as generator and analyzer functions for the supported cellular and non-cellular standards including GNSS and broadcast technologies.

Remote Radio Head 50 GHz for Signaling
CMXHEAD50
The R&S®CMXHEAD50 is the only remote radio head for signaling that offers bi-directional testing at five mmWave frequency bands and additional EVM booster ports - all within one hardware set. It covers all 3GPP frequency bands in FR2-1 between 22 and 50 GHz: n257, n258, n259, n260, n261 and even the new n262 frequency band that features 1000 MHz of bandwidth between 47.2 and 48.2 GHz. With active mmWave combiners from R&S up to four R&S®CMXHEAD50 can be combined to enable advanced scenarios such as interband carrier aggregation 28 GHz + 39 GHz.

The R&S®CMX-Z25 is the solution: Up to 16 DUT ports can be supported with just 4 ports from R&S®CMX500. So even prototypes of 5G smartphones, tablets, laptops or industrial modules with an extended number of antenna ports can now be connected to a single R&S®CMX500. Together with the scalable CMX architecture any 5G and 5G Advanced mobile device can now be tested in one go - without recabling or 3GPP band combo limitations.
