The 41/43-765-002 is a 12-channel Analog Output Module designed to meet the requirements of industrial control applications utilizing current loops 4 – 20mA. It consists of up to four 16-bit, digital-to-analogue converters (DAC), capable of creating four current outputs each. Output current within 0mA - 4mA and 20mA - 24mA, give the ability to simulate error or extra signaling conditions. The ±24mA mode gives the ability to simulate either sourcing or sinking sensor.

This is accomplished by employing a multiple phase-locked loop architecture as well as a YIG oscillator as the heart of its synthesizer. The PeakTech 2715 is a loop tester which is used to test the safety of electrical systems. These device measures the impedance of the short-circuit loop between the outer conductors of a circuit, whereby the probable short-circuit current is calculated. The protection of the circuit (miniature circuit breaker) must therefore trigger at a lower current than the expected short-circuit current, in order to avoid excessive heating of the lines and thus a fire risk.
