OLED Lifetime Test System

The 58131 Lifetime Test System is designed specifically for the OLED industry. Model 58131 provides twoquadrant constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) stimulus to each OLED panel and acquires electrical and optical characteristics automatically. Two independent and isolated precision source-and-measure units (PMU) are incorporated in one modular card, which is capable of testing two OLED panels. Additional instrument cards are added to expand test capacity. Hot plug and play is a key feature of 58131. When a UUT fails or an instrument card needs to be replaced, 58131 does not have to be shutdown and testing continues for other UUTs. Hot plug and play obviates life test cycle restarts due to isolated faults and significantly improves life test efficiency. We firmly believe that hot plug and play capability should be mandatory for all lifetime test systems.

These COD gages use a high-temperature capacitive sensor and do not require any cooling. They will operate up to the maximum temperature limit of most environmental chambers used in materials testing. The Model 7641 is ideal for determination of fracture mechanics parameters such as JIC, KIC, R-curve, fatigue crack growth rate (da/dN), and testing to standards such as E1820, E399, E647, etc. All units can be displaced slightly in compression for ease of installation. The COD gage is supplied with the advanced DT6229 controller. The standard output is 0-10VDC analog signal, factory calibrated with the COD gage. This system provides a number of functional enhancements, including: high speed digital output, built in calibration and tare functions, analog and digital filters, and more. Averaging Extensometers for ASTM D5656 Shear Tests

The Model 4013 extensometer meets the requirements of ASTM D5656 for measuring the strain properties of an adhesive in shear. It uses different contact point spacing compared to the extensometer shown in D5656. This makes it much easier to mount and eliminates the slippage problems associated with the design shown in the ASTM standard. The Model 4013 is available with all of Epsilon’s temperature configurations. It has a 3.0 mm (0.12 inches) full scale measuring range. The conical point contacts included with the extensometer are made from tungsten carbide.The Model 4013 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. Most often they are connected to a test machine controller. The signal conditioning electronics for the extensometer is typically included with the test machine controller or may often be added. In this case the extensometer is shipped with the proper connector and wiring to plug directly into the electronics. For systems lacking the required electronics, Epsilon can provide a variety of solutions, allowing the extensometer output to be connected to data acquisition boards, chart recorders or other equipment.

The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces.
