CAT Advanced Series
Description The Advanced CAT Series Analyzers and Timers are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breaker status evaluation. Timing channels record arc closing and opening, resistance and auxiliary contacts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of pre-insertion resistors (if present in the breaker). The advanced CAT series records graphs of the opening and closing coil currents and the movements of the moving parts of the high and medium voltage circuit breaker. Test results are printed on the 112 mm (4.4 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. The advanced CAT series provides easy selection of different operating modes:

Orbit Controls counters and timers are designed for connection to practically all industrial sensors and pulse sources . They can be used as process monitors to display the process variable to be measured or as process controllers for control and monitoring tasks. The devices display and process pulses and frequencies, as well as quadrature signals from incremental and absolute encoded rotary encoders. In addition to information on the display, the devices also generate data and analog outputs and monitor preselected limit values. The Process Timer TCT101-1ABC is a panel mount 4 digit 2 line display meter that can be set up for various Timer functions, such as Timer Off, Timer On, Pause Timer, Timer On and Off, Propotinal Timer. The TCT101-1ABC has 2 relays that can be used for various functions and has 5 Amp contacts. The timer periods can be set in multiples of 1 hundredths, 1 tenths of a second, seconds, minutes or hours. With the aid of the front touch panel or digital input it is possible to interrupt the timer. The unit also has a function that can set the output to toggle on and off over a period of time.

Counters, Timers, And Ratemeters
ORTEC offers the broadest range of nuclear counters, timers, rate meters and multichannel scalers. Counters simply count the number of input pulses received during the counting period. Timers count pulses generated by an internal or external clock and are used to measure elapsed time, or to establish the length of the counting period. Rate meters provide a readout of the pulse count rate. Multichannel scalers count the number of events that occur during a specified time interval, referred to as the dwell time, resulting in a time-histogram of counts. “Standalone” and programmable computer controlled versions are available.
