The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. This allows the data source to load information to, or receive information from, the device under test. This 36:1 version can be software configured into two independent 18 way MUXs enabling two separate sources of serial data to be connected to separate banks of 18 devices. The module is ideal for performing bulk testing of any device that relies on a serial data communications port to load software or control the device operation. Optoplex Optical wavelength meter (OWM) uses proprietary thin-film interference filter in conjunction with Fabry-Perot cavity technology combined with a micro-actuator and high-speed electronics. Its working principle is schematically shown below. By comparison with Optical channel monitor / Optical performance monitor, the proprietary wavelength reference unit is introduced to ensure high precision wavelength measurements. Optoplex Optical wavelength meter is the only DWDM wavelength meter capable of measuring wavelengths of multi-lasers in DWDM networks over C-band and L-band wavelength range with a high accuracy better than that the wavelength locker can provide. For example, the device can simultaneously report 80 wavelength values of 80 channels at 50 GHz channel spacing with the wavelength accuracy ± 2 GHz. The Handyscope TP450 is a power quality analyzer, connected via USB to the computer. The advanced measurement software delivered by default contains Quick Setups that allow to start mains power logging measurements without specialized instrument knowledge. With the 450 V input range, the Handyscope TP450 can be plugged directly in a (110 - 230 V) wall socket to measure the mains voltage. No additional attenuator is required. Logging mains voltage can be done at a high rate of 250 thousand measurements per second, with a resolution of 16 bit, which is equal to a 5½ digit voltmeter. The Handyscope TP450 is an accurate voltmeter, but one that performs 5000 measurements on each cycle of the mains voltage, while a standard voltmeter performs 3 measurements per second. Even with the very high measurement rate of the Handyscope TP450, the mains voltage can be measured continuously for weeks, and afterwards each period of the mains voltage can be analyzed thoroughly. Using this fast continuous measuring method, no voltage peak or dip is missed, even if it lasts just a msec. The maximum measuring duration of the mains voltage is only limited by the available hard disk space. Measuring one week takes approximately 0.69 GB disk space. During a measurement, also RMS value and frequency are logged. It is possible to measure various properties, like e.g. Minimum, Maximum, Peak to peak, Mean, Variance, Standard deviation.
