DV Power circuit breaker analyzer and timer utilizes the latest technological enhancements for safe and fast testing of circuit breakers. The sophisticated design ensures efficient and reliable operations in high-voltage substations and industrial environments.The CAT Advanced series are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for a circuit breaker testing. The timing channels record closing and an opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. Also, the main contact channels can measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker).With CAT Advanced series instruments, it is possible to record graphs of open and close coil currents. Furthermore, it records displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. Multiprotocol Transceivers
Analog Devices’ RS-232/RS-485 multiprotocol transceivers are the only parts in the market that allow protocol switching and allow for switching between half-/full-duplex operation and switching on/off termination resistors, both of which minimize physical user intervention when reconfiguring networks. Features include 3.3 V to 5 V operation, up to ±26 kV ESD, a logic supply pin, and small LFCSP packages. As large-scale computing applications typically require more protocols than the RS-232 and RS-485 protocols found in everyday applications, we support legacy protocols. MODEM ELIMINATOR
The UDC-ME allows two DTE devices (such as routers) to communicate within proximity of each other. The UDC-ME transmits data bi-directionally at clock rates of 1.2k up to 3.072Mbps between DTE devices. The unit is equipped with two interface slots that allow a host of serial interface cards to be utilized. The serial interface cards available are RS-232, RS-422/449, RS-530, X.21, V.35 and HSSI. The Serial Interface cards are interchangeable and may be mixed such as RS-232 to V.35 thus eliminating the need for an interface converter or changing expensive serial cards on a DTE device such as a router.

The system is designed to work with carrier frequency 1800/2700 Hz and modulated frequency 65Hz/85Hz.
