This innovative combination meter for testing electrical installations according to VDE 0100 convinces by its technical performance in the high-end range.With the large 3.5 "TFT color display all important safety checks as the RCD-, Voltage-, Loop-, Low-Ohm, Earth resistance and Insulation tests for annual safety-checks and newly installed systems can safely be carried out by the responsible electrical engineer.Since this new development was designed only according to the latest standards, the required measuring values can be even more convenient stored with an App (iOS / Android) via Bluetooth on the mobile phone, saved to an SD card or, when work is completed, from the internal data memory via USB connection to a PC.

This digital insulation measuring device is required for various measurements of cables, components and their insulation. The voltage required for the insulation measurement can be set using the rotary switch. By pressing the test button, the set voltage is output and the device / line to be measured is checked. In order to carry out a measurement permanently without having to hold the button down, the test button can be turned while pressing it. For the insulation measurement function, three voltage values can be selected to cover a wide range of test types.

Earth Resistance Tester

A Rugged sealed digital earth tester is built with all the protection you need for outdoor use. The instrument is suitable for the testing of single earth electrodes such as lightning conductors and other small earthing systems according to VDE 0413. The resistance of conductors such as continuity and conduit coupling joints can also be measured. Two-terminal operation measurement, which reduces the accuracy, can also be done by shorting P and C terminals. It has an advanced circuit design that permits the instrument to operate with the minimum influence from earth voltage and earth resistance of the auxiliary spikes.

The PeakTech 2710 is a residual current tester, which is used to determine tripping currents and the tripping times of residual current circuit breakers, which are used in every new building according to current building regulations. Residual current circuit breakers are used for personal protection and switch off a circuit when a residual current is registered which flows off via the protective earth (PE). RCD testers let a fault current flow and thus determine at which fault current the RCD triggers. The tripping time is also measured. These two parameters, tripping current and tripping time, are the safety-relevant parameters of an RCD. The various selectable test currents and characteristics that can be set with this device make the PeakTech 2710 the ideal companion for every electrician.

Loop / PFC Testers

The PeakTech 2715 is a loop tester which is used to test the safety of electrical systems. These device measures the impedance of the short-circuit loop between the outer conductors of a circuit, whereby the probable short-circuit current is calculated. The protection of the circuit (miniature circuit breaker) must therefore trigger at a lower current than the expected short-circuit current, in order to avoid excessive heating of the lines and thus a fire risk. The PeakTech 2715 is due to its function and its robust design almost indispensable when performing new installations, but also for general checking of electrical systems, this device is the ideal companion.
